It was a Saturday to remember. Jessica had celebrated many exciting birthdays but last year’s in particular would be THE one to tell over and over again! A trip to Lexington was much needed. After all, it was nice to get out of town to celebrate. Daniel and some 14 closest friends planned a trip to celebrate with Jessica and booked a limo at the last minute. She still had no idea then. She was just excited to have a good time with everyone!! Dinner at Cheddar’s came and went. Then it was time to hit the town where everyone rode in the limo together. One of their friends asked Jessica for her camera. “Let me take a picture of you two!”, she said casually. She snapped an image and kept the camera, ignoring jessica’s request to get it back. Everyone was chatting away and suddenly, silence! You know that moment?? But, it was different this time. Daniel said her full name and held out a little black box. She couldn’t believe what was happening! He had tears in his eyes and all she could do was bury her face in her hands… still in disbelief. After the proposal, Jessica immediately called her parents to share the good news. But they already knew… for a MONTH!! Well, remember the camera? It was to help document the priceless moments!
I love open fields. Nothing like the wind in our faces, the swaying grasses, the natural fences, the open skies..

In about 5 months, they would marry at Buckhorn Lodge, the very place they met for the first time. I can’t wait!! So much love… for them : )
