“Casey is full of surprises”, Paige said. Luckily for her they are usually the right kind of surprises : )
They met in their late teens while working at a grocery store. Young love and young at heart. Paige thought Casey was very handsome from day one and didn’t bat an eye when he finally asked her to go steady. She was ecstatic! Fast forward 3 years later, after many surprises, good days and stressful days, Casey thought he would make it really official by taking her out for a picnic. He planned it for days, making sure he had her favorite foods and snacks. He was feeling on top of the world, literally… so he chose to take her high on the mountain top near where they live. On a beautiful rock, they enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, delicious foods and each other. It was perfect.
As they were packing up to go home, Casey thought he would make the trip worthwhile, by surprising Paige one more time. This time, on bended knee with a beautiful ring. He proposed with his mom’s engagement ring and Paige was in tears. Shocked, surprised, sheer happiness! Words couldn’t describe her feelings at the moment. They lingered and enjoyed their moment a little while before Casey decided to surprise her AGAIN. This time…

Paige and Casey chose this beautiful property in Louisville for their engagement session. The estate boasts a stately building, gorgeous manicured formal english gardens and a few old-world elements such as this gateway.
We concluded our special afternoon at this ‘enchanted’ forest… tucked away in a corner of the property. A perfect, private stroll to ‘get away’ from the formal and open gardens. Everything was beautiful… from the warm afternoon sun to the amazing grounds to this lovely couple. I can’t wait to celebrate their upcoming nuptials at Allandale Mansion, TN 🙂
